Fallodon Playgroup is a privately owned, mornings only playgroup held in ‘The Scout Hut’, Fallodon Way, Henleaze.
Mission Statement: Fallodon Playgroup aims to be a high-quality setting that is welcoming, safe and stimulating, where children are able to enjoy learning and grow in confidence. We value our place at the heart of the local community where we can build relationships with children as well as their families and friends.
We are open Monday – Thursday 9.15-1pm and children will have the option of attending for a short morning, 9.15-12.15pm or bringing a packed lunch and staying on for lunch club until 1pm. We can take up to 24 children per session from age 2 years to school age (of whom only 6 can be less than 3 years old).
The sessions consist of free play, from 9.15-11.45, with a break at 10.30 for fruit, milk and a snack, such as a plain biscuit or cracker. We try to go outside every day for play, making use of our lovely, large tarmac and grass play areas.
Each session provides an exciting mix of activities for children, indoors and outdoors, including on-site Forest School on Thursdays.
We accept the Early Years Entitlement, provided by Bristol City Council for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Most members of staff are mothers with school age 
children, most of whom attended Fallodon Playgroup. Five members of staff are teachers and all have worked in childcare for many years.
